This Privacy Policy explains how MySportsPix Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use the PIX mobile app and the mysportspix.io website (together, "the Services").

What data we collect
Account information
Email address. Display name or username. Password (stored only as a hash; we never have access to your plaintext password). Profile photo, if you choose to upload one.
Gameplay data
Picks, predictions, drafts, and entries. League memberships and your role in each league. Scores, leaderboard positions, and game history. Match-related preferences you set in-app.
Device and technical data
Device type, model, and operating system version. App version. Apple's Identifier for Vendors (IDFV). Push notification token, if you enable push notifications. IP address (collected automatically in server logs). Crash diagnostics (non-identifiable).
Purchase data
When you make in-app purchases through PIX, we receive purchase confirmations and subscription status from Apple. We do not see or store your payment card details. We use this data to provide you with access to purchased features and to understand purchase patterns at an aggregate level.
What we do not collect
We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising purposes. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs and we do not share data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not collect precise location data. We do not access your contacts, photos, calendar, or microphone. We do not collect payment card details. Any future paid features will be handled by Apple's In-App Purchase system, and Apple's privacy policy applies to those transactions.
How we use your data and our legal basis
Under UK GDPR, we must have a legal basis for each use of your personal data.
Creating and managing your PIX account — Performance of contract (Article 6(1)(b))
Running gameplay, leagues, and leaderboards — Performance of contract
Sending service emails such as sign-up confirmations, password resets, and game notifications — Performance of contract
Improving the Services, fixing bugs, and debugging crashes — Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f))

Who we share your data with
We use the following third parties as data processors. Each operates under written terms requiring them to protect your data to a standard equivalent to ours.
Mixpanel — provides product analytics. We send pseudonymous usage events and your PIX user ID to Mixpanel to understand how features are used and to improve the app. Mixpanel does not use this data for cross-app tracking or advertising. Supabase Inc. — provides authentication, database, file storage, and real-time event distribution. Hosted on AWS infrastructure.
Resend — delivers transactional emails such as sign-up confirmations and password resets.
RevenueCat — manages in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat receives Apple purchase receipts and your PIX user ID to validate purchases and provide subscription management. Apple Inc. — provides App Store distribution, push notification delivery, and, if applicable, in-app purchase processing. Apple's privacy policy applies to data Apple collects directly: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
Expo and Expo Application Services (EAS) — provides app build and over-the-air update infrastructure.
We rely on sports data from Opta and ESPN to populate match information, scores, and statistics. These providers do not receive personal data about you.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.
International transfers
Some of our processors store or process data outside the UK and EEA. Where this occurs, we rely on UK-approved safeguards, principally the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by emailing privacy@mysportspix.io.
How long we keep your data
Account data (email, username, password hash, profile) — While your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion
Gameplay history (picks, scores, league participation) — While your account is active. Anonymised aggregates may be retained indefinitely for product analytics
Purchase data (via RevenueCat) — Retained for the lifetime of your account, plus any period required by tax/accounting law (typically 6 years in the UK for transaction records)
Server logs (including IP address) — 90 days
Crash diagnostics — 90 days
Marketing email records — Until you unsubscribe, plus a record of your unsubscribe request
You can request earlier deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. See Section 8.
Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Right of access — ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") — ask us to delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
Right to restrict processing — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
Right to object — object to processing we carry out based on legitimate interests.
Right to data portability — ask for your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@mysportspix.io. We will respond within one month.

Deleting your account
You can delete your PIX account at any time by:
Emailing privacy@mysportspix.io from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account", or
Using the in-app account deletion flow in Settings.
When you delete your account, your account data and personal information will be deleted within 30 days. Your gameplay history will be deleted or fully anonymised. Some data may be retained where we have a legal obligation to do so, such as financial records or fraud prevention records.
Children's privacy
PIX is rated 13+ on the App Store and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please email privacy@mysportspix.io and we will delete it.
For users aged 13 to 17 in the United Kingdom, we apply the principles of the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code: we minimise the data we collect, do not use profile-based targeting, and apply privacy-by-default settings.
Security
We take security seriously and apply industry-standard measures including the following.
All network traffic uses HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher). Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt, via Supabase Auth). Production data access is restricted to authorised MySportsPix Ltd personnel. We do not store payment card details on our servers.
No system is 100% secure. If a personal data breach occurs that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify you and the ICO in accordance with UK GDPR Article 33.
Cookies and tracking
The mysportspix.io website uses a minimal set of cookies for site functionality and basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work without them.
The PIX iOS app does not use cookies. It does use device identifiers (IDFV, push token) as described in Section 2.
We do not use cross-site or cross-app tracking technologies.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. We will notify you of material changes in-app or by email before they take effect.
